We are excited to announce that our newly-designed website is now live!
Every four years, the City is eligible for design refresh with our website vendor, CivicPlus. This comes at no additional cost to receive an updated design.
The redesign process
The City's Communication department worked with a CivicPlus project manager and designer since the spring of 2021, to take part in an audit of our website, looking at analytics, functionality and feedback received from other City departments.
Our research indicated that 45% of visitors access our website via a mobile device. One of the enhancements is an improved responsive design that will adjust easily on any mobile and electronic device.
Additionally, on the homepage we added more high-level information that we’ve learned is important to our stakeholders and community. For example, we’ve included more prominent contact information at the top and bottom of the homepage, a more visually appealing and easy-to-view block-style calendar and events section, and robust popular links to help residents and visitors find information more easily and quickly.
